Parveen Express fully ensures the safety of your consignments. However, a proper packing is very essential to ensure that the consignment reaches the destination, after passing through various transshipment points, in safe condition.

Imagine standing in a moving bus or Cargoes without holding anything. The boxes inside the container vehicle too would undergo more or less the same scenario, especially when the vehicle is half full or less. So here are some useful packing tips to help you pack your consignment before you could book it to us.

Cardboard Box:
Always use a fresh box of appropriate size and thickness based on the contents inside the box. Under filled box is likely to collapse, and over filled box may tear apart.Never use a dented or a partially damaged box as this is almost as good as nothing. A box once damaged, loses its strength considerably.

Cushioning:
Use a lot of cushioning materials inside and outside the box like bubble wrap, thermocol, etc. to prevent damage to the goods. Usually these cushioning materials also ensure that the goods are held firmly inside the box.

Tapes:
Make use of good quality tapes to secure the boxes. Also ensure that the tape is adhered to the box properly.

Strapping:
Make use of strapping if required as it is a very good way to secure the box.

Fragile Items:
For items such as bottles, glass cups, etc, choose a package box with suitable internal cardboard partitioning. This helps to prevent damage to the glass items as all the stress would be absorbed by the internal partitioning material when other items are placed over it. Proper internal cushioning is also advised.

Liquids:
Always ensure that liquids, oils and other greasy substances are stored in leak proof containers, and a suitable box with proper internal partitioning is used. Also keep enough absorbent inside the box to absorb the liquids if there is any leakage. This is very important as the surrounding items might get damaged.

Wooden Containers:
Use wooden containers to ship heavy items. But always ensure that there are no sharp edges and that the box is well secured.

Tins:
Make use of tins for strong smelling liquids or fluids, and ensure that the tins are properly sealed.

Arrow Marks:
Always draw the ‘up arrow’ sign on the box to ensure that the box isn’t loaded in the wrong position.
